So, me and my wicked girlfriend made this pipe together. She made the stem, and I made the bowl. There are a few different kinds of lichens growing on the rim of the bowl, and the stem is accented with the shell of a mussel that i got at a Chinese buffet place, ahah... Let us know what you think!
Very nice looking pipe, but the first thing I thought was 'Gee, I wouldn't want to smoke any lichens!'. Aside from that it seems world class.
I'm jealous, just be careful not to light the lichens. Colorful lichens look cooler then black ones anyway.
thanks for all the nice comments! And, as far as I know, there is nothing bad about having lichens around the rim of a bowl. For one, it's a fairly deep bowl, and as long as it's lit properly, they shouldn't burn at all. Some lichens produce spores, which could be inhaled, though, you are probably inhaling spores right now as you read this... most likely mold spores... You'd inhale more lichen spores by merely walking around outside, than you would smoking out of this pipe for the rest of your life. For some more perspective, just take into account the fact that you are smoking plant material, that in itself is fairly unhealthy, haha. It's all relative!
