Lol, but you haven't hit mine? If I'm enjoying it and getting no splash in my mouth AT ALL then how can you say its not supposed to do that. I will admit im using tad less water now but not much less... I can literally look down and see the water spinning while I'm hitting it in that return tube so I don't know how it's not functioning properly. Not trying to start a fight or anything. Just curious as too how you can say all this without hitting one of the Apix ones. Regardless I'm very happy with my tube Oh and I have noticed my return tube bulbous part is quite a bit wider that Mira's.
Since you guys are talking about water levels, I believe with those recyclers you have to have a lot. Like to the point were it recycles constantly. Right now your tube only recycles when the smoke is very dense. It should be able to recycle when dry hitting it. At least that's how I see motherships recyclers
just out of curiosity whats the point of a flower tube recycler? i know with oils its to get the bubbles breaking right near the mouth piece to retain flavor and not get splash back since there usually so small. but in a big tube is there a purpose? granted the function just looks amazing
That's the problem with this design; you have to be milking a hit for it to recycle, otherwise your water levels have to be way too high. Like twin2 said before, this needs a better stacking perc, or it should be a shorter can.
You guys havnt even hit one, it hits better then any concentrate piece dan has made. Theres nothing wrong with it, its hits the way he wants it
Im not saying he wont make it better im just saying theres nothing "wrong" with them. Could they be better? of course, almost any piece can be improved on. Just my opinion, dab on! Edit: also mabe he will make one like the one you describe mr.tea, he said hes making different styles and sizes
True. Didn't mean to imply that it was a "bad" piece, just that it could use improvements (which you just said he will be doing). Can't wait to see his other designs.
it doesn't need a better stacking perc at all. The perc can stack fine on its own. But when your hitting a piece it never stacks like it does with fresh water unless its very dense yelllow smoke and a lot of air flow. No matter how high a perc can stack it will not when your hitting it.....
I know that percs stack better with smoke in them, but that doesn't mean that the stackage without smoke shouldn't be enough to function. I imagine if the recycling bulb has .5-1.5" lower it would be perfect.
True that, makes total sense. Hopefully he can really perfect this. It will be a great unique production piece for his business.
I think this looks like an awesome piece for a heavy hitting vapor rig. I'm taking into account, it would have to be a very free-flowing vape. Cloud, log vape, hot SSV...
Idk dude! I am broke as shit for the next.....ever so it will be hard for me to afford one to find out!!! I have a XHaleCloud and it tends to like larger bore, heavily diffused rigs. I've tried it with a smaller and larger bore, both with little or lots of diffusion. I don't know if a Cloud Xhale would go well with this, it's too small of a bore and is too smooth/airy. I get a better pull through my Cloud with a huge bore, heavily diffused, chugger. Although, I could be proven wrong....
Can't say that I speak from experience. On some other forums, I know most of the Mobius dewaar/stemless lineup is a favorite with Clouds. The Heat Island (log vape), in my opinion prefers med, med/lg. My friends like using it with the 22" piece. Not my preference. I prefer bubblers/tubes 12" - 15", 60 - 70mm walls. Though, moving down in size, I don't mind. Getting bigger, is just too much on the old lungs anymore.
I have found the Cloud likes big chambers as it takes several seconds before it starts filling up. I don't like small rigs with tape bongs setups cuz you are constantly taking the hit (for flavor i guess it's good), but I like to get a big ol' fat rip of vapor before it barely hits my lips.
I start out with the short 13" recycler for the great flavor and as you said constant hit your getting. Then after its been hit I like to use my gridded stem/11 which is 19" and do the same as you. I just love this recycler because it cools the vapor soo much before it gets to my mouth witch is a huge plus for me because i get an irritated throat super fast from hot vapor.
You know, I was mixing some waxes last night, hybrid with a heavy indica... so I pulled out my Eclipse 2.0. As its more of a heat and drawn out milk setup, I was thinking exactly of this piece, while using it. Its a good long 10 - 15 second pull, well long enough to get that recycler chugging along.
Sup guys so I was inspired by this thread to talk to dan about purchasing a stemline and I went ahead and ordered a worked amber purple bridge stemline with an ice pinch slide with a matching handle. He's the man and this tube looks so sick should have it soon!
