It's awesome. The smoke is rediculously cool by the time it hits your mouth. And it's got an amazing unique pull, you can feel it spinning/recycling while your hitting it.
Tons of awesome glass here! I'm considering an apix for my next tube. I was wondering if you guys could tell me the pros and cons of a straight stemline vs. a king stemline? Not really sure which I would prefer. Is one more versatile than the other? I would be using it primarily for flowers but maybe the occasional concertrate also. Thanks for any help, hopefully this is a good place to post this.

I am not a water level freak like most people here, but it seems to be that those water levels are too high. Hard to believe you are retaining much flavor, the rte is actually a little splash back on that recycler in your vid which shouldn't happen. Check our Mira's water levels those seem to be perfect! Love the alien tech!!! Congratulations on a truly remarkable piece!
Lol water levels.. This thing was designed to have more water in it. And if you watch Mira's vids of the cycler it's not functioning nearly As much as it should/could be. And it's personal preference. I get no splash in my mouth at all. It spins doesn't splash If you haven't hit a inner recycling tube you can't really comment on water levels because its a completely different design
Can you givvve a size reference? It's hard to tell how much water is covering the perc. Also, while water level is certainly a personal preference, I still think you could get more flavor out of your buds by taking out some more water. Functioning more doesn't make a piece better, finding the sweet spot is what it's all about.

The water really shouldn't be splashing up through the return tube like it did in your video and if we're really getting critical the return tubes in general are too tall and too narrow. If the skinny tubing was shorter and the bulbous part was wider than the bubbles wouldn't have to travel so straight and far up to recycle and would be aided by the smaller volume. I'm sure Dan will work out the kinks. I've had a pretty good amount of experience hitting a mini MS seed of life torus.. Those were nice Mira! I think I liked the function best from about 45 sec to 1:12.
I like that level the best too so far. I agree that the design isn't perfect. I think it could benefit from having the entire system moved up about 3 inches with more room in the bottom for water. That would give it enough water to really make the cycler work without putting too much water on top of the perc. Either way, when hitting it with very little water it's basically just a gridded circ and I can dig that too.
how much are plain recyclers? plain meaning all clear glass, no heady just wonderin cause those look awesome

Anyone else not seeing the point of having a recycler on a flower piece? all i can see it would do it encourage stale smoke and get hella fucking dirty
I don't think it encourages stale smoke whatsoever, and hows it going to get any more dirty than any other piece? I'm loving the looks and function of these tubes, I wanna see the next round of them and how he changes them up.
As long as the top of the can doesn't move down too. Otherwise there would be too little room for the perc to do its work. That's why I was saying to just add a few inches of empty space filled with water to the bottom. That would give the perc little enough water to still function really well, and have enough water for the cycler to suck up at the same time.
