    Good Day, friends.

  4. Damn, you use a loooot of water on your kingstem. Anything more than 3/4 of an inch is too much IMO.

  5. Nice vid (plus others), sub'd.

  6. Gotta agree, IMO its Dan's nicest looking tube to date. That opal really sets it off.

  7. lol. another critic of water levels. sigh....that's why it's YOUR opinion. i want to see who the fuck determined long ago what was the "proper" water amount in a person's tube...7 posts so i'll forgive you, but if you check through the maaaaaaany pages on this thread, you'll see many water levels in my videos. it's all preference my man. let's leave it at that.

  8. The water level comments really grind my gears. That kings lookin smexy btw :hello:

  9. Let's see a pic of your Apix with proper water level please.

  10. Why are you guys all butt hurt over ones opinion? Just like its all your own preference and opinion(your water level), he has his own opinion too, which he clearly stated at the end of his post.. "IMO"

Don't have to jump all over him, it's game for discussion and not against the rules to post opinions, in this case water levels lol.

In my opinion the water level affects the function, and I prefer airy hits over chugged hits.

  11. it's not offensive. and i also don't think anyone is butthurt, tech. but after a while a water level post gets a bit annoying, especially when it comes to me and my tube. someone always has an opinion on "proper" water levels. I just enjoy what I enjoy!
As you stated, it's all about opinion, so maybe the person who wants to criticize a water level should first assume that the person enjoys their tube in that way.

  12. I tend to agree with you but unfortunately not everyone assumes that way, or is considerate to the opinions of others.

  13. Which is why we jumped all over'em! Full circle.

  14. Well you're in the same group of categories you see, while he doesn't assume the nature of your opinion, you aren't considerate of his opinion either. Like SS said, it's best stated as a preference.

  15. Being considerate of an opinion is one issue. Reading the thread and making sure the opinion hasn't been covered is another. Also putting IMO at the end of every. "This ways better......imo" Really isn't an opinion without reasoning.

  16. Bro no one (especially a new member) is going to scroll through the entire thread to see what's been talked about before and what hasn't. He was simply stating his opinion which was that he thought someone's water level was too much. Anyway no need to beat a dead subject, we all get the picture (I hope).

I'm about to ask Dan what's good with some ashcatchers, those stemline acs are beginning to grow on me, again. Imagine a worked tube with a stemline ac to match...idk seems like a good idea and someone would definitely hop on it quickly.

  17. A couple pages would have been enough if you look back maybe 2-3 pages it was covered again, but as you say no use beating a dead horse.

A worked tube to stem AC sounds sick. I inquired a while back to see if a bent neck tube was possible. Never heard anything back, although I have heard he stopped doing custom work a while back so that would explain it.

  18. I used to prefer higher water level until I gave really low levels a shot and found that they stack much better with smoke (as opposed to just air).

I got a chance to get some outdoor milkage on my roof-type thing today. The wind kind of messed up the milk a little and I got a bad angle for light. There was a goddamned yellow jacket messing with me (not enough space to avoid it up there) but I'll grab some nicer outdoor vids/shots soon.
