The best part about summer is the watermelon bong, but I am a guy who won't smoke out of something that isn't air tight, call me OCD or a Perfectionist, whatever you want, but super ghetto just isn't me. So I made the tool you see below, and my girlfriend tells me I took the watermelon bong way to seriously, and all it is is a $0.20 piece of tubing from Lowes, with a bowl in it, a plastic fitting on the bottom, and a thing for your mouth on top, the extra components cost me a whopping two dollars, any thoughts on it?
Dude thats awesome! If you are going to make a natural piece might as well do it right. Try a potato one hitter if you are trying to go stealth, like the small ones that might be like 2.5x1, they get the job done.
Personally, I wudnt smoke out of it, just out of habit. Natural isnt me i guess, and glass just kicks fucking ass. Ceramic/Metal is like my "sketchy"/"ghetto" verison of a piece.
When I first read the topic, I read "Am I taking my watermelon too seriously?". Glad that wasn't the case. Use it till it rots! Then put the materials towards another bong.
Planned on keeping the parts, because now as long as I can fit that mouth piece in it, that is the perfect size, and that plug in the bottom, can smoke out of damn near anything. I have the watermelon in the freezer at almost all times, just for smoother hits, so we'll see how long it lasts ;D
