I went to a book store earlier to pick up a couple books for my wife and they asked me for my zip code which I told them they didn't need and the young lady behind the register told me she could not check me out without a zip code so I told her my childhood zip code back in Iowa and she completed my purchase. What kind of a world are we living in where you can't just hand over money for a few items and leave without giving up personal information?
Just stoned. And I'm super surprised that they didn't take your money. I guess bookwork homeless types are stuck going to the library.
It’s only going to get worse. Soon we will need QR Codes to go online to post stuff or just to get around.
Who I just lost 200 pounds in hopes of living a longer life but if that is our future I am not so sure I should be bothered.
Fuck all that. I am a software engineer and I work over the net but if they really have that in store for us and we will be renting everything in a decade I hope to shit I die before I reach 60 and I am 48 today
Eh said homeless bookwork type could be picky too I suppose And you gotta go with the hard cover, man. You never know when you're gonna need a surface to draw/write on a napkin with
Awe, look at you making me sound all spontanious. Plenty of people enjoy being wooed with surprises so I guess that might work to my benefit
Not to mention the fact that the hard cover book will be more durable which is quite important when you live on the streets
I think a snoring bunk mate or two would be the least of your worries if you are staying at a homeless shelter, you have far bigger things to worry about such as lice and other bugs, being robbed in your sleep, being raped while asleep, and being killed.
lice and bed bugs, everyone should worry about. i was homeless for a short time 30 years ago. never felt endagered,it's career homeless that sleep in camps.they need to cover their butt and have one eye open when sleeping.
