Had her out to water, so figured I'd update. She's growing strong, and will need a tp within the week. Figuring a new schedule out atp has been rough working nights after a decade esp at 60hrs a week. Sent from the second star to the right
Came to update. I let her get bound in the solo size cup, and transplanted last week. After a few days of looking horrible she's finally on the turn around. Started her watering schedule and today was mbp watered in with fulvic, silica, and aloe, only half gallon for now. Still plan on not making teas with neem for a bit. Once I watered she was tied down. Oh I also got a ac infinity t4, Temps have been mid 70s-very low 80s. Still plan on some extra mulch as well when I get a little free time, straw is 5 freaking dollars a bale now lol. Think that's all, hope everyone is good out there! She's coming into her own now, and growing strong. Still a tad rough with new growth but all in all better.. I did end up adding a small amount of neem in a tea for her, also added a cup of castings, and a little molasses as well. Basically my logic was the 20g pot sat in the dark for over a month which soil was fairly dried out by the time I got back to it, and I figured a little boost in microbes wouldn't hurt. From here on out it'll be the regular tea brew, just small amounts of neem instead of half cups. Also that was made at 5g, and only used 1 lol. In a few days I'll have a better idea of what I'll be doing. The other thing is I'll be setting up the humidifier as rh hasn't been above 30 and I can tell the difference from prior runs Sent from the second star to the right
Well I went ahead and put the net on in an attempt to keep this plant shorter. Have a little wind damage at the top left from the fan below, so just changed the direction it's blowing. Older growth looks stellar, new growth is normalish too. I'm attributing the off new growth was from trying to ph the water a few days ago. Yesterday the leaves were wrinkled and definitely looked like ph fluctuation to me, won't be doing that again. The ph up is lime based which in my head I think would over time cause serious issues if I continued to use it Figure in a week or 2 max we should be ready to flower. I'm hoping with keeping her short once I flip I can just let her stretch straight up through the net without tucking anything. Oh also I've seen no signs of bugs at all so maybe the lady bugs last run did their jobs, or maybe I was wrong? Sent from the second star to the right
Thanks guys! I'm still weary I've got some kind of soil issue. Like I said end of last run I was sure it was N abundance with clawing/burning/horrible foxtailing. Guess we'll find out. I just don't get it though, cause I followed the schedule to a T. Only thing I can figure is the neem/kelp teas are supposed to be neem for veg and kelp for flower? Not both neem and kelp the entire run. I'll ask in the no till thread in the next couple days, unless any of yall know. Until then its time to get moving, one last night of work and I'll finally have a few nights off. All night tonight is overtime, then 2 days of holiday pay too boot, woot woot Merry Christmas!!!! I finally ordered a different light, sf2000 will be here in a few days. Sent from the second star to the right
Sorry I haven't updated this thread, been trying to work through plant issues over on the no-till thread. Still not 100% sure exactly what happened, either low ph for a while, or overwatering due to thicker mulch which killed all the life in the soil, or a mixture of both. I ended up cutting watering drastically and also started to ph my 5.6 well water to mid 6s, also topped dressed somewhere around 6-8 cups fresh castings. I foliar fed a tea brew, had started a neem kelp tea that ended sitting a week as I didn't want to do anything to the soil till we turned around. To that tea I added some fresh castings and molasses, , then added some folvic acid and silica, stirred that once every 6hrs for 24hrs phed to 5.9 and lightly sprayed at lights off. Yesterday I lightly sprayed chelated iron as well. While she still looks like dog shit, she is definitely on the turn around. Things haven't gotten worse, and the plant is back to praying, with new growth darker then it was. Also I literally wasn't able to tuck any tops as the branches were super tough, but the past few days as water and stuff started flowing again I was able to tuck all tops. Still need to go through and defoliate all the trashed leaves and what not. Hopefully in a couple weeks we will be able to flower. Just a couple pics 1st pic is from a few days ago and the rest from today Sent from the 2nd star to the right
Am subbed bro this is awsome best org diary i seen to dste. But what the hell is half an elbow?haha dont use thst term here? Half a kilo? Coz id put thst on my elbow in a bag...? No idea but 16 wudnt be crazy it looks mint Thinking 2oz larf.. Must be 16 tops?
While I appreciate the kind words, best diary couldn't be further from the truth, I'm a noob man and not too bright lol. Lots of far better growers with far better diaries here. An elbow is a pound, zips are ounces. So I'm around half pound per harvest up until now. However I'm thinking this run will smash prior numbers. On to the good stuff. So after my last update the plant again went south. I was literally a day or 2 away from scrapping the run and starting fresh soil and all. I figured I'd try and add some Epsom salts to a watering first the other week, and wouldn't you know it thats what turned things around, so finally fully back on track. The plant has been looking better every day and growing strong, so today is the day for lights going 12/12. I took 4 clones yesterday, and did a little trimming. In a week ill trim a little more, then another week or 2 she'll get her last defoliation and that should be that. My only issue now is this plant is far too big so hoping the stretch will be minimal cause not a lot of room for tucking or anything. Here she is today. Sent from the 2nd star to the right
Stretch is on now, all systems go. Gonna Jerry rig more ties this weekend to try and level her a bit better Sent from the 2nd star to the right
1 week of stretch down. Did a tiny bit of trimming today, and I'll do a bit more tomorrow, then the rest next week. From the pics it's hard to tell, but I assure yall I did take a little off the top. I also raised the light as high as it'll go. I tried turning the power up to 100% but she didn't seem to like the increase so I put it back around 85 after it was raised. I'll try again in another couple days Sent from the 2nd star to the right
Been a little so just dropping an update. Somewhere around 17 days since flip, a couple days into flower now, and going strong. I've began giving an extra gallon of water every few waterings, now that she's doing her thing she's been drinking far more. That's really it for the plant, just riding the wave I also started a new venture, something I've never seriously done before other than ghetto runs of wine. I have 4g of mead fermenting, left is a honey blend, then viking mead "cherry", then 2 mixed berries and vanilla. Plan on starting 4g every month as the prior batch goes into secondary. Had an airlock blowout on the far right gallon lol, used too much honey with the fruit and boy the yeast went bonkers Hope everyone out there is doing good! Sent from the 2nd star to the right
Just dropping another update. Week 3 from flip, week 1 of flower down, well tomorrow would be the exact day. Gonna do her final trim and tie down tomorrow, but she's doing well all things considered. Today she got her mbp top dress watered in with fulvic, aloe, and silica at 1.5 gallons. I switched silica source to raw brand silica powder, was using a liquid kind up until the other week. I have a kelp tea brewing for next week, nothing fancy just a basic mix with a little castings added. Will dilute the 1 gallon tea to 5 gallons to have on hand. She was yellowing again beginning of the week so hit her with some Epsom salts again and greened her right back up, all except the same 2 tops on the right, wonder if those tops will ever look right? But she looks healthy so I'm not complaining. Hope everyone is doing well! Sent from the 2nd star to the right
Evening world, things are steadily moving along here, buds are growing and trichs are showing. Cut the lights back to around 70% as these tops are a little tall, gonna let her ride for a bit and see how she takes it. All in all with the early issues I think she's looking pretty good The 3 melomel gallons are ready for their first racking, and will take some pics once I get it under way. The basic honey mead is still easily in primary. I'll be cleaning the jugs, sanitizing and starting a few fresh gallons once racked Also covid finally touched down in our house, both son and I have similar symptoms with close contact of positive individual. Had my test this morning so ill know for sure in a few days. Basically it's been a bad headache for the past week, dizzy, bad congestion and snotting, chest pains with slight cough, and fever that comes and goes Sent from the 2nd star to the right
Howdy peeps, been a while. Work has been crazy lately, working swing shifts basically filling in wherever needed and lots of ot. I've had zero time for anything so this 3 day weekend will be nice. Hope all is well out there. I've still been going through it with this run. Think my issues have been lack of compost related more than anything else, so added castings a couple times and seems to have helped. She's around 7 weeks or so I'm guessing, honestly I haven't been keeping track. Definitely on the back side so a few weeks left me thinks, just starting to show some cloudy. Really happy with the genetics, trichome coverage is amazing, even on the lower larf hash material, and she stinks something fierce most days now. Gonna run this cut a while and hopefully dial things in. Sent from the 2nd star to the right
Morning peeps, up and at it. Hey thanks guys! The tent is close enough to 3×3 but technically it's 32"×32" Sent from the 2nd star to the right
Just stopping in to update, things are finishing up here, hoping harvest will be within 2 weeks. Haven't took a close look at trichs yet but we're close. Hope all is well out there for everyone! Sent from the 2nd star to the right
