You kinda have to hold the bowl on there to seal it because I couldn't find the right sized grommet. Not to much trouble though.
It's a trombone mouthpiece lol.. Well the stem is held on by epoxy and bowl goes over it and seals with a grommet.
Probably a 3/8 glass drill bit under water.. Thats how I made a party waterfall bong with a jack daniels 1/2 gallon bottle. The bowl is wicked. rep

The Absolut bottle is pure class. The trombone mouthpiece is dangerous as hell. That's a brass item electroplated in silver. The two metals expand and contract at different rates while heating, so there's a chance you'll flake off the silver (which isn't really horrible for you) and start leeching metals out of the brass portion of your bowl with the heat from your burning herb. People get sick from brass poisoning by playing their instruments with chipped plating. What I'm talking about is zinc fumes being released, and considering you'll have an ember that's around 1200 degrees fahrenheit in your bowl, I'd worry about it. Then again, I don't know how much is filtered out by the water, so whatever.
Wow that's a lot to take in.. I'll just buy a bowl..But what do you recommend I use as a temporary/safe bowl til I get one?
Yeah, safest route. I used a door bumper spring thing... The one on the trim behind a interior door. Pull of the cap and presto! Instant bowl.
You can just get a slider. They're a lot cheaper than the mouthpiece you were using...last one I bought was about $5.
