I have a stereo matrix with the holes, and as long as you have a DD slide the top perc works perfectly.
haha yeah thanks, that was kinda what I was thinking, that it was a earlier design. Although the picture on aqua shows it has the holes but I think its just an old photo.
Are you saying that John/Circle acknowledged the dysfunctional holes in the stereo matrix disc and have decided to never make them that way again?

Yup. He actually found out about the problem right after shipping that "batch" of tubes out. Apparently it was his brother in law's fault for shipping them out. Actually, they weren't meant to be that way on purpose. He noticed the fuck-up and the error in shipping and actually called his shops to ask them to destroy (yes, full on smash) all of the erroneous tubes & bubs, and he would send more "correct" designs out ASAP. However, apparently, quite a few less than scrupulous stores (*cough* aqua *cough*) decided "Eh, why destroy these tubes when we can make a profit off them?" and hence why there's a good amount of the fucked up stereo's around... because, where do most people buy theirs???? I'm betting if he wanted to (and had proof) he could take legal action on aqua for "slander" if this is completely true. I'm sure if he's thought about it he's figured what a waste of money and just won't let ir happen again. Glad to hear more of his awesome business operations. Haha.
Yeah, that's why I love Mobius, John/Circle is SUCH a stand-up guy when it comes to his business from what I can gather! Yeah, I'm sure that he's thought about taking action against all those "lesser" shops, but I don't know how the court system would view a legal battle about bongs... Pretty sure he's better off just "laying low" on that and telling those sellers to not do that shit again... then again, it's pretty hard to prove what went down, legally speaking, it would be mostly hearsay, although the fact that aqua STILL has the pics with the disc in the middle... doesn't bode too well for them credibility wise, IMO. John or (Circle) is a real stand up guy and a great artist. He has developed some great concepts and is an asset to the industry for sure. Here's a quote on how the Matrix perc came to be.

Man that's some shit, of course I had to buy mine out of the first batch of stereo matrix's. Fucking A L T. That just pisses me off, I basically spent 450$ on a half correctly functioning piece. I mean it really does work fine with a DD slide, but if you press on the bud while its burning n restrict airflow at all. The smoke gets bunched up in the drain holes, you can feel it. Like the perc just stopped working all of a sudden. If this wasn't about bongs, I might have a legitimate legal case against A L T. Selling me faulty products against the discretion of the producer of said product. Idk much about the "technicalities" of law, but sounds illegal to me. Does anyone know if I contacted circle, he would trade a new one for the old one?
Idk man its a lot of hear say as well, you never know if they really got the message or not before they sold the first batch, maybe try to contact him respectfully and see whats up. Mine should be here in a couple hours
