The more pure, the better. I mix 99.9 with distilled water and use it as a cleaning solution doing body work, stuff is awesome. I just recently cleaned my grinder screen aswell, I can finally catch some crystal again!
Usually 70% but either or. Just depends on what's on hand. I just feel the grit of the salt helps clean the walls and what not
