First the glass, post 2 has the rest of them Left to right: JBD, Phire, Left Coast. This is a Pure that had the bottom shattered out of it and the downstem was also no good. Straws, and a nice amount of plastic wrap and we're back in business. Spoiler: 2 Now for the homemades, these we both made like last week. This is the Party bong as you cannot take a single hit or clear it in one breath. I took a 12 oz soda bottle and cut it in half to be the appropriate length for the extra downstem I have, dremmeled a hole big enough for the downstem in the cap so I can unscrew the cap to empty it or just pull the downstem out. Then took tubing, drilled holes in it to work like an inline defuser with holes getting progressively bigger, and coiled that around the bottom of the Ocean Spray Cranberry gallon jug. The original design had a 4 straw perc in the top of the jug with a Gatorade bottle attached to the top but I decided against it after I used the wrong kind of bubble gum (it stayed gooshy=no seal) to secure it, and the bong is big enough as is. Its very smooth and looks cool Next is The Gladiator. Made this about the same time, just took a drinking hat, put two Woodchuck bottles in them, dremmeled two holes in each top for the tubes and attached them to a socket with a bottle cap ontop of it with a hole drilled in the bottle cap to put a bowl into. This is pretty harsh and hard to inhale on but its built for shits and giggles and to be ridiculous.
Was wondering the same thing, as well as how that left coast ashcatcher is. I bought a 20" 7mm beakerbottom left coast a few weeks ago and am looking to expand a bit. The tube its self is amazing.

hey, when using simple green do you just let it soak in the glass or do you use it with salt to clean out the tube. Ive only used iso/salt, but after awhile theres a film of res that i cant get off. SG should work for this? Still curious about LC percs, i want to get a perc'd tube without breaking bank, but want something decent. If i remember correctly, someone said the percs inside LC bongs are china glass, so are the stock downstem, but the rest are hand blown in the us.

Cleaning perc bongs is so annoying though and its nowhere near as bad as some of my friends pieces. The LC is nice and smooth. However, where the downstem goes, it got chipped somehow and didnt really notice it. Im hoping it isnt a sign of things to come with the rest of it. Youd be surprised. My one friend broke his straight tube right off above the perc tree (clean break) and had his down stem break and we fixed it by ceran wrapping the top of it back on, and we were able to use this Panera Bread coffee straw as the downstem; the bowl fit perfectly in it. Im personally pretty paranoid about using straws and stuff but I mean it works and as long as you dont try to get res hits where the bowl gets really really hot then its going to be fine. You gotta do what you gotta do Dont knock it till youve tried it. It works and have used it to fix a countless number of other bongs. I dont really like using anything plastic near like bowls (I will concede, I dont really like using the hat for that very reason) and stuff because I get paranoid but its incredibly effective. Ill tell you what though, when you break your bong and are going to throw it out, give it to me and Ill send you pics of me enjoying it....fixed.
