For this press i had my PID set at 200...just before squeeze i bump down to 190 so plates are in cool mode while im squishing. Setting at 190 just ensures it doesnt drop below that if plates cools to quick...Setting temps this way, i find is just another way to get even better consistency from your squishes
just starting to play wit different microns...i use 160u regularly but have 120 and 90 as well...at this point better yield with 160...a lil better quality wit the 90u.....its a toss up but i like the getting better yields most times ...again depends on your pressing material...I have some smaller bags comin for pressing some sifted heads....To each thier own really on what micron they prefer...Squeezes do all come out different tho with different microns
I’ve done the same as you and I find that I tend to like the consistency from the 160 the best for flower as well.
