those are by far the most professional homemade bongs ive ever seen. i have one and im damn proud of it, but it doesnt look nearly as pro as those. i used superglue to make it airtight, but where do u think i could find a 1/2 inch gromet? (mispell prob, i know) also, how did u make the female part of the slide diffused like that? id love to do that to mine but i dont even know how id do it...do u just use the circular diamond drill bit and slightly touch the part u want until it goes through..? i feel like if i tried that itd break though the glass is really thin on my female piece. either way + rep for making the sickest homemades ive ever seen.

FYI that vase from 1906 is was worth about 800 at auction. Could have bought a custom Roor. No I have no idea, but that's what would happen to me if I drilled a old vase/bottle.
More or less yeah if you can find an ashcatcher that does a 90 degree angle like that. But hell even something that does a 45 degree angle is fine yknow? Nobody said it had to be STRAIGHT up! As long as you have good times with your homemade and it's not toxic, the rest is just decoration anyway If you can order online, just search for "1/2 inch rubber grommet" in google, there are some good sites. Decent hardware stores should carry too. I did the diffused cuts using this dremel bit (happened to have it laying around): Again, I used the same technique of running cold tap water over the glass while drilling, this time bringing the edge of the disc slowly into the glass to form 6 slits. True, the glass is thin, so make sure to space the slits safely apart. Just work slow and careful and it turns out fine. Do it man! Thrift stores are definitely the way to go. Make sure to look out for ones that let the stem come in at an angle; I've learned to spot the shape quickly haha. And make sure to post your creations. Check out the first one I ever made, from a $2 romanian vase. I definitely just used parts I had laying around, so it only totaled $7. Sorry it's a little dirty, I'm too lazy to clean it right now. I made the diffuser out of a small test tube which I dremeled holes in. Don't use a test tube for a slide, the seal sucks unless you hold it the whole time. I wish I knew somewhere/someone to sell to; waiting to hit them just in case I find a way. It's too bad it's against ebay's policies. The colorful one is about 13" tall and the mouth is 2" wide. It feels pretty comfortable to hold. Damn, I was trippin for a second. At least if it was worth that much, it would be a bong that commands respec. Well the green tube is Bryan's, so it's up to him to make it. Looks like a 45 degree bowl like that could work, I used something similar on my yellow one since it was pretty slanted. That link's a good deal, I should really be looking for supplies online more it seems. I've just been buying local, for more money.
Those are so awesome man! I made a pipe last year out of a hollow fish I found at a home goods store, should have been abong but didnt ge tthe angle on the slide right. Turned out to be a pretty snazzy pipe though and hits awesomely, will get you gone quick! Love it!
