Hey guys, been a while since I've posted but found this topic to be thread worthy. Here is my homemade vape. All parts were cut and annodized at home enjoy time to hit this bowl
Thats impressive! The Extreme Q vape set up is definately my favorite, portable an stable. What did you use for a heating element and temp controller?
haha definitely looks more legit than my friend's redneck dad's creation made of a coffee tin, a soldering iron and some vinyl tubing. i'm pretty sure it gave people cancer just by looking at it. but good job OP, looks good, lets see some... skim... milk?
Looks good bro, but more info/pics would be awesome. What are you using as your heating element? Is it variable? How does it perform compared to other vapes on the market (hopefully you have tried others) How much did this project cost you?
thanks for the kind words folks, I have to head to work now so there's no time for a tutorial right now, however I can say that it uses a high quality ceramic heating element wired to a board that has a temp control knob. I've only used 2 other vapes (both no name) and they couldn't come close to the performance of this guy, personally. It takes not even .5 to get 2 people pretty toasty. The whip kit and bowl are from a pretty expensive/popular vape, but I don't recall the name. The holes up front are the on button and temp control knob.
I believe those parts are off of an Extreme Vaporizer by Arizer, a tutorial would be awesome!! Going to college pretty soon an we could always use another vape in the house, an im gunna have shit all to do till school starts so i can make a lil project outta this
WOW! I was expecting a shitty little lightbulb vape but this... holy shit lol. Tutorial when you have the time PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE :O :O :O :O
Im very impressed. I wasnt expecting that when I came into this thread. Nicely done, would love to hear an explanation as to how you made the heating element.. But +rep for that one!
Genious. Impressive man. Tutorial would be wonderful, but understandable if you wanted to keep it private.
Thanks folks for all the kind words, my brother and I love this thing. Sorry for the delay in responding, this is my first time back on since I posted (been busy this week) In terms of a tutorial...I'd love to make one folks, but we feel this vaporizer is unique and kinda wanna keep it mysterious for the time being...we don't quite know our plans with it yet. In addition however, I'd be happy to message those of you who asked and share more information, hopefully enough for you to come up with something closely similar. I hope you guys and gals don't get mad! I will be posting more pics though shortly, to show what went into this. I can also say that my brother has an engineering background and most of the parts (minus the arizer bowl and whip and body of course) we're CNC machined from aluminum, and then we anodized (dyed) it in house. There are certain things that are very unique to this vape and I hope you all enjoy the next pictures I post.
