1/2lbs per plant??? 4x4 grow tent.

  1. Is this with organic soil, coco, or hydro......very curious.

  2. Ok, now realistically speaking, with your experience, how much could you(as in you) yield with 4 plants and one TSW200? And then same thing with the Cre cob?

  3. 1lb total would be very impressive. Maybe more if you are enriching with CO2 and have a lot of lights.

  4. I dont mess with TSW200's, so I wouldnt be able to give you an answer......but logically speaking if you can push between 750-1000w of Led power in between 2700K-3500K and get decent penetration through the canopy 1.5lb is a good goal in a 4x4......broke down, 6 zips a plant. If you get to that, tighten your weaknesses up and go for the 2lbs next round.

  5. This next picture will be 7.5-9 zips, just pulled it tonight. 20-30 gallon pots will help your goal. Maybe a good 2 month Veg from clone. It can be done, ...........but from an ELITE grower that ate his Weedies.....just my .02

  8. I didn’t know that you’d need 20 gallon pot for a half pound. I thought a 7 gallon pot would be enough lol‍♂️

  9. Found this picture in jorge cervantes marijuana horticulture book. Maybe it could be a good pointer on container size. Its a topic that I havent understood totally myself. I think it depends a lot on what your medium is. Coco and hydro growers wont need big pots in the same sense soil do. I think

  10. Coco, in 2.4 gallon airpots and fed daily.

  11. I have 20 or 25 gallon grow bags, cannot remember. I used a soil with time released ferts which tend to give some tip burn in the 7 gallon grow bags I used previously. But with the larger pot I haven't had the amount of tip burn like I had in the smaller pots. I only vegged for about 45 days from seed. Everytime I try and make it to the 60 day mark before the flip but they just get to big.

  12. Coco and Hydro can get away with smaller containers. I grow in fully organic built soil, so I like the bigger pots. Veg for a month from clone, pull the top down to the side and stake it with bamboo, veg for another month, then into flower. Depending on strain, thats a 5-8 zip plant.....

  13. is it possible? sure, it's very do-able. The more accurate question is can YOU achieve that kind of yield the way you grow, your growing technique, genetics, skill, method, etc.

    An example...
I only grow auto's. You can generally yield more with photo's if you let them veg a bit but you can even achieve your goal with autos.
I grow in a 2 x 4 tent with "entry-level" HLG QB132 lights and a LRS-350-36 driver for 300w at the wall. HALF of the size you are asking about and half the power you should have in your tent. nothing fancy at all. I grow in my own mix of organic soil.
My grow last spring I harvested in May included 2 decent sized auto's. total yield on those two 7.5oz on one and 9.5 oz on the other. over 1/2 lb each from autos in a 2x4 tent. oh, also had 2 other smaller autos in the tent at the same time for another 4 oz.
no reason why you can't achieve same.
oh, I know of a grower who can yield over 1 lb PER plant on some auto's. so it comes down to a lot of factors as listed above but yes, it's do-able.

  15. beautiful plant! :)
It's Sunday morning so figured I'd match yours.... :) :)

here are two of mine from last spring. same grow. Harvest day on both - pics just before chop.

first is a Lemon AK auto. grown in 12-gal tote. my own mix organic soil. dried and jarred at just over 9.5oz

    Cinderella Jack auto.
one of my new top favorites btw!
7.67oz out of her. 7-gal grow bag, my own mix organic soil
BTW, I really cleaned out her lower and inside canopy as you can see but not until late in flowering - should have done it much sooner and would have increased yield I'm sure. But I saved and dried almost another half oz of small popcorn buds from that pruning job and enjoying those extra buds immensely - early so very light and racy. :) That extra weight isn't included in the final weight, just extra from trim :)

    I've been averaging 4#'s off 900w Amare Bar-8, Canna-Spec with x2 plants in 7's.
All you need to complete your 4x4 is a bar light down each side of that Mars linear. Not exceeding 500-720w depending on your choice of bars or brand n what they're using. For instance, a good spectrum might cost a few extra watts. But soooo worth it come harvest & release if that's your thing.
But you could use household Philips 19w bulbs from HomeDepot or wherever. They make a sweet horticultural 4k too. HO IMHO. Integrated optical lens with a Pixelated diffuser. They kick serious butt. X8 of those down each side would give you a very high & even ppfd of a nice spd.

Recently ran into Ac Infinity fans on Amazon. Boght x2. Love em. Multifunctional ones available too at great prices imo. If not really garbo. I only bought 4" ones for the house. Plastic. So idk. May be worth looking at.

A 3 gall is plenty & a 5 is optimal. Not speaking in terms of soil but in soiless media.
I have a thread here from about 6 yrs ago using the vertical led system called the SunCloak. Second led run ever. Pulled x2 #'s off x4 plants in 5's in a 28" (i.d.),32"(o.d.)x4' space using 600w. First time ever hitting 1.5 gpw. Key is to utilize hight x width. That's where the right spectrum comes in if growing from above. In this case I had a crappieish spectrum but had full plant illumination from top to bottom.

  19. I just pulled a lil over a lb and a lil over a qp of hash making stuff( ended up with half o) off a 4x4 600w 3000k meiju light and a 240w 3500k with uv and ir. received_884512852315766.jpeg received_546344859660545.jpeg 20210302_170806.jpg IMG_20210320_121618_372.jpg 20210313_174927.jpg

  20. Ive never had trouble getting a pound out of a plant, even as a novice. Its kinda odd. Thought 1lb per plant was the holy grail

All about that veg time and space i think. My veg times have always been more than a month and ive never grown more than 2 plants in a 4x4.

Guy above probably couldve done just one plant vegged longer, and gotten the same amount.

    *shrug
    I was hydro though.
Now im about to start a 40gal no till in a 4x4, so

Would love to experiment with sog / multiple smaller plants but i dont think im ready hehe
