I do enjoy the buds, and every possible way of smoking/vaporizing/baking/concentrating there is; but I can't afford to drop $300+ for a high end, highly diffused piece. (at the moment at least) So I decided to try and make them on my own. I know they aren't perfect like the high end pieces, but as it takes glass blowers time to learn their craft, I am trying to do the same! Since I enjoy making these homemade devices, I decided to make a little thread dedicated to them! *For those that say "man you're smoking plastic, you're releasing toxic fumes", think about this: When you smoke a joint/blunt, the smoke is almost in direct contact with your mouth from the ignition source (the burning bud). Think of the paper as the bowl holding the bud. Therefore, if your mouth/throat aren't getting burnt being so close to the ignition source, how will plastic burn or release fumes when a glass slide is used in a homemade device? I am NOT defending those that use metal sockets or anything alike, and certainly NEVER aluminum, glass is always safest for a slide.*
Here is an 8 slit (3 holes per slit) showerhead to gridded perc with a circ ashcatch/splashguard. I made this one for a friend; 80 hole gridded showerhead ash catch (16 sets of 5 vertical holes), gridded inner/showerhead outer double perc, to disc (correct name?) percolator. Hits like a dream

Well, it's common to expect that with 90% of the homemades on here But I'm glad I was able to show you otherwise. More is surely to come! I was running genius mix on iTunes, so it was all sorts of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Acoustic Alchemy and a lots of other shit. I'm not positive what was playing, but by the sounds of it, there is definitely a Bitches Brew feel to it You know, I always thought of getting the ideas out somehow, but selling to a company always seemed far-fetched to me. I have been selling these things to friends recently though, so it has allowed to get em out there a bit more (and the money is always nice too)

Thank you everyone for their compliments and support so far! I've had this little bub for a while. It's been put through some use and needs a little cleaning, but I think it shows why I use it a lot.
