There's a New Strain Named After Monica Lewinsky and it is Potent AF

There’s a new strain from Washington based growers Sugarleaf named after former president Bill Clinton’s famous mistress Monica Lewinsky. It’s also incredibly potent. Huffington Post communicated via email with Sugarleaf CEO Cody Anderlini about the new strain.

“To this day the strain remains pretty exclusive,” Anderlini said. “Sugarleaf is the only producer to bring it to market for the public to enjoy.” Monica Lewinsky is also one of the most potent strains on the market, testing regularly over 20 percent, sometimes testing as high as 30 percent, according to Anderlini.

Monica Lewinsky herself is now aware of the existence of the strain named after her, as she tweeted out a picture of the strain saying “Guys!” complete with wide eye emojis and pointing fingers. There’s no word yet on whether she’s tried her namesake strain, but overall she seems to be pretty pleased. Maybe now people will stop talking about the other reason she’s famous.

Monica Lewinsky is extremely difficult to find. Until now, it hasn’t been available to the public, until Sugarleaf began cultivating it. Anderlini has said that he would love to have Ms. Lewinsky over to give her a tour and “show her all the hard work that goes into producing world class cannabis and how far the industry has come,” He’s even indicated that he would give proceeds from the sales to the charity of her choice, which is pretty cool if you ask me.
