A new app available in the App Store and on Google Play, Hemp Inc, will allow players to grow and cultivate their own cannabis, and form their own successful cannabis empires. The game also will encourage players to get cannabis decriminalized in the game world, as well as in the real world by asking them to sign a NORML petition.
In the game, players will be responsible for growing and harvesting their own cannabis crops. They also get to run their own dispensaries and learn the ins and outs of running a successful business.
Game developer Danny Hammett of HKA Digital Studios said in an interview, “The goal of the game right now is to grow weed, sell weed, and improve your standing in the community so you can help decriminalize cannabis within our virtual world. ” Hammett formerly worked for Activision, and had a hand in developing games such as Call Of Duty.
Hammett said that he absolutely intends to send a message about cannabis decriminalization with his app. He wants to show that the cannabis business is a serious one and cannabis proprietors can be upstanding citizens who do good things for their communities.
Others in the cannabis world are getting involved too. Players will soon be able to listen to a livestream of CannabisRadio.com as they play, along with other perks.
If you love playing Sim games, this is probably the perfect game for you. I don’t know about you, but I’m gonna download this game on my next break.
