4 Canna Tourism Destinations You Should Check Out This Spring Break

  • Comments

Spring Break is upon us, and I don’t know about you, but I would sure love to get out of town for a bit, particularly for some good ole canna tourism. Where can you go this time of year? If you live on the west coast, you have tons of options, all of which happen to be located near a beach! So pack your favorite pipe, roll some joints and get ready for the best Spring Break ever!

It’s a little too cold yet to spend too much time chillin on the beach, but the Oregon coast is one of the most scenic and beautiful coastlines in the entire US, so you should at least make the drive there. Be sure to smoke a joint and hit up Gracie’s Sea Hag in Depoe Bay for the best bowl of clam chowder you’ll taste in your life. If you’re not wanting to brave the cold, you can always stick to Portland, or drive down to Eugene, home to some of the sweetest glass in the industry.

If you’re looking for a warmer destination this Spring Break, you can’t do much better than sunny California, where recreational cannabis is legal of course. Now is a great time to hit up one of the many beaches that line the coast of southern California. If you’re more in the mood for some vino, you have to hit up one (or more) of the many wineries that dot northern California. Be sure to hit up plenty of dispensaries for advice on the perfect cannabis and wine pairings. If you go at the right time you’ll find a wine tasting that offers a little something extra, if you know what I mean.

Why not visit the Oregon Coast (and its many dispensaries) this Spring Break?

Seattle/Puget Sound, Washington State

If you don’t mind a little rain, you can always hit up the Seattle Puget Sound area, which is gorgeous this time of year. If you’re a fan of hiking, pack your favorite one hitter and get ready to hit the trails in the Olympic National Forest, but be sure to dress warmly! Get really high and go up on the Space Needle for a fantastic view (and a bit of a head rush too). Indulge your munchies with some fresh fish from Pike Street Market. Of course, be sure to hit up all the dispensaries you can!

Las Vegas, Nevada

No list of canna tourism destinations to hit up this Spring Break would be complete without a mention of the fabulous and now 420 friendly Las Vegas! You could always stay on the strip, which is pretty cannabis friendly, but why do Vegas the “traditional way?” We strongly recommend that you look up some weed friendly airbnbs around the city. One place that comes highly recommended (pun sorta intended) is the extremely 420 friendly Clairebnb, owned by former Playmate Clair Sinclair, who also used to headline at the Strip’s very own Stratosphere. See you at the blackjack tables!
