Are you wondering what you can do with your leftovers, like all of that vaped bud that you’ve been saving for a week? Do you have a jar full of stems that you have no idea what to do with? Don’t just throw them away! There are useful things that you can do with your leftovers.
Make A Green Dragon
For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, a green dragon is vodka that has had cannabis soaking in it for a month or more. What you do is take your leftovers, like vaped bud, stems, or some shake if you’ve got a lot of it, then empty it into a jar filled with plain vodka. Theoretically, you could use flavored vodka, but that might taste a little weird. The more you add, the stronger it will be. Let the mixture sit in a dark, cool space, like your kitchen pantry. Store it like that for a month, while you shake it once a day. Then you’re good to go!
Or You Could Make A Topical
Topicals, also known as lotions, are great for relieving chronic pain, so they are generally used for medical purposes. There’s no reason why you can’t make a lotion that can relieve muscle aches and also give you a nice buzz. All you need is coconut oil or shea butter depending on whichever you prefer, either should be fine. You’ll also need some herb, vitamin e oil, and beeswax.
Heat 12 oz of coconut oil in a crock pot. Add your herb once the oil is all the way melted. Cook on the lowest setting for 12 hours. Strain the mixture using cheesecloth to get all of the herb out. Melt the beeswax on low using the stove. Lastly, add a dropper full of vitamin E oil to your lotion. Wait for it to cool, and you’re good to go!
You Can Also Make Cannabutter
You can also use your leftovers to cook with. There are a lot of different recipes for cannabutter, but the way I do it is to the melt the amount of butter that you want to make on a stove-top. When the butter is fully melted, then add it to a glass container with your leftovers (vaped herb, stems, shake). Make sure that your herb is ground as fine as possible, unless you want chunky cannabutter.
